Mr. Wells was born and raised in California but moved to a farm in Arkansas during his High School years. At one point he wanted to raise pigs for a vocation. He majored in history in college and has always loved school. He has a wonderful wife of 35 yrs, 2 beautiful daughters, two great sons-in-law and 3 super granddaughters. Mr. Wells has officiated High School sports for over 20 years, doing lots of football, basketball, softball, and baseball games. He also loves to play golf when he gets the chance.
Fun fact: Mr. Wells is always looking for something new and exciting to do. For his 50th birthday he jumped out of an airplane at 13,000 feet. “Skydiving was fun even though I had some anxious moments before the rip cord was pulled.”

Mrs. South has lived all around the country as a Navy daughter and a corporate wife, but has found her home in Northern California for 20 years. Working in high school, elementary and middle school, she has been a teacher, counselor and career center director. In addition to her work in education, she has raised two boys as a stay at home mom, led work crews of developmentally disabled adults, developed and taught fitness and aerobics programs, and worked for a US Senator. Her present joys are her darling granddaughters, two grown sons and husband of over 30 years.

Miss Williams was born in Alexandria, Mn., but grew up in Walnut Creek, Ca. She had a diverse background and business career before entering the teaching profession in 1984. She has been teaching at ESCS since 1994, and has served as Vice Principal of the Jr/Sr High since 2003. Along with this, Miss Williams is also an adjunct professor in the Teacher Education Dept. of Patten University. She enjoys reading, the theatre, and music.

Mr. Winter was born in St. Francis, Kansas. His dad was a pastor in Kansas and Nebraska until Mr. Winter was 12 years old. His family then moved to Oregon where he and his sister, Kathy attended Canyonville Christian High School. Mr. Winter’s father and mother, Don and Roberta (Robbie) sacrificed greatly to put their children through Christian High School and see them graduate from George Fox University. In 1984, Mr. Winter became the Athletic Director of ESCS and 21 years later he still loves working with students and being a partner with parents in shaping young lives. Running, gardening, music, and reading are a few of Mr. Winter’s many interests.

Mrs. Wells has lived in California all of her life. She grew up in the desert city of Lancaster. She has taught for over 30 years from Kindergarten through College. She is currently an adjunct professor in the Teacher Education Dept. of Patten University. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family. She has a wonderful husband, 2 beautiful daughters, 2 super sons-in-law and 3 fantastic granddaughters.

Mrs. Wood grew up in Oregon and moved to California when she married her husband Mike, who was in the Coast Guard. Mrs. Wood is the mother of two children, Stephanie and Jared, who are ESCS grads and her pride and joy. They are both college graduates and are living and working in Southern California. Mrs. Wood has managed the financial aspects of ESCS for the past 25 years and has been instrumental in the stability and growth of the school. She is an avid reader, and quilter, and is always up for a laugh or a party.
