Elementary Dress Code

El Sobrante Christian Students are required to wear school uniforms.  The standards of dress and appearance for students of El Sobrante Christian School are based on good taste, modesty, cleanliness, comfort, safety and practicality.  They are intended to encourage reverence toward God, to show respect for the school and faculty, to build school spirit, and to give priority to the development of the inner self over outward appearance.

Teachers and administrators have the responsibility and authority to apply these general guidelines when confronted with questionable appearance not covered specifically. Students are expected to arrive at school in dress code and stay in dress code until they are released from school supervision or need to change for a specific sporting event or activity.
